An alternative title of this article might have been: What I didn't do in the summer holidays. I did toy with that for a moment or two.
Yes, I had grandiose plans for completing these books I'm working on, but the weather had other ideas. I spent several weeks floored by the heatwave we in England experienced. Well, that was one reason; another was that various bits of work came in and they obviously had to take priority.
Anyway, this is just a heads-up that I'll be working on these over the next week or two, just as soon as I've completed my latest commission. If you would like to know when these will be ready or almost ready, and generally have more information, subscribe to my newsletter, Digital Education.
Incidentally, the Education Conferences one has already been published, and received about 18 five star reviews on Amazon. However, in the light of feedback from my beta readers I decided to update it. Because I somewhat naively thought I would get that done in a week or so, I pulled the book from the virtual shelves so that nobody would have the experience of buying the book and then discovering that they could have had an updated version if they'd waited a few days. (Mind you, there is a way of receiving updates on books from Amazon.) So the book disappeared, and the reviews along with it. However, they should be reinstated when I republish the book, so you'll be able to read the rave reviews for yourself rather than taking my word for it!
Something you might be interested in is that although the Computing Qualifications one isn't published yet, a less detailed but still really useful version is available as a spreadsheet to Digital Education subscribers. What I've done is to collate the eligible qualifications for Computing and related subjects, to save people having to trawl through various spreadsheets and documents themselves. Please note though that it applies only to England for the years 2019 and 2020.
