A new challenge: I have set myself the constraint of writing articles in 57 words. Why 57? Because I asked my wife to give me a number between 1 and 100, and that’s what she came up with.

I like where this book is coming from. It regards teachers as experts, and cites a lot of research to back up its calls for a teaching profession based on “clinical practice”. It includes some good ideas, and ought to be read by education leaders. Unfortunately, it underestimates the practical impediments to making changes. Worth reading though.
