A new assessment resource has come to my attention. It shows the keywords and synonyms in the SAMR and Bloom’s Taxonomy models, and apps which enable the teacher to address those areas.
In the assessment training I do, I look at around 17 different models and approaches to assessment, including SAMR, Bloom’s, and some variations of Bloom’s. I think before you can sensibly choose apps to use for assessment, you need to have a set of underlying assessment principles in place. Therefore, while I think the assessment wheel I’ll link to in a second is useful, it would definitely be even more useful in the context of a well thought out assessment strategy with clearly defined principles.
