The coming ed tech

In 2019, we'll see a continued focus on the inclusive classroom, and solutions that benefit students of all abilities. Inclusive design, and built-in, mainstream solutions to benefit all will continue to gain in popularity. AssisiveTech can not only help students, but help teachers scale and save time in the classroom. In addition, tools that help amplify student voice will keep growing, and there will be continued interest in STEM and coding.

Challenges

A big challenge in EdTech for 2019 will be around data privacy, and the repercussions of GDPR and related changes in how EdTech companies gather and use data.
