The future of AI in Education: notes on a Westminster Education Forum Conference

A few months ago I attended a Westminster Education Forum about the use of AI in Education. I spent quite some time going through the transcript and making notes, but then I thought: why not use AI to do the work?

I decided to use Google’s Notebook LM. The results are not too dissimilar to the ones I laboriously created myself. What I especially like about the programme is that, like several others, it suggests questions based on the source material and allows you to enter your own. It is also the first program of its kind I’ve come across that lets you upload a long document without having to take out a premium subscription.

You can also generate a discussion which sounds remarkably realistic. You don’t have any input on this: there’s a male and a female voice, with American accents. I’ve included the podcast below.
